Zimbabwe is preparing for the ‘Gym Afro T10′ tournament. This tournament is starting from 20 July. Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt along with Sohan Roy of Ariz Group of Companies has bought the Harare Hurricanes team.
Participation of 5 teams
A total of 5 teams have participated in this tournament organized by Zimbabwe. Teams included are Durban Qalandars, Cape Town Samp Army, Bulawayo Braves, Johor Lions and Harare Hurricanes. The Lahore Qalandars of the Pakistan Super League have bought the Durban Qalandars team.
The ‘Gym Afro T10′ tournament will start from 20 July. Players will be able to register from July 2. This will be the first season of the Jim Afro tournament. Sanjay Dutt has said that he is excited after buying the team. With this, Harare Hurricanes are confident that they will do well in the tournament and entertain cricket fans in Zimbabwe.
Sanjay Dutt said, ‘Cricket is as important as religion in India and is the most popular sport. I think it is our duty to take the game to every corner of the country. Zimbabwe have performed well on the field in this match. I am happy to be associated with it. I am hopeful that Harare Hurricanes will do well in the tournament.
