During the previous season of the Abu Dhabi T10 League, the Deccan Gladiators achieved a remarkable feat by clinching the trophy for the second time in the history of the T10 tournament. Their victory came in a thrilling final match against the New York Strikers, where they triumphed with a convincing 37-run margin. Despite finishing fourth in the league round, the Gladiators displayed immense resilience and determination, securing their spot in the final by defeating Team Abu Dhabi and Morrisville Samp Army.
