It was an eventful day at the Zim Afro T10 as the teams headed for the knock-outs were finally decided with Qalandars knocking out Bulawayo Braves while the Buffaloes seized their tickets for the play-offs by drubbing the Harare Hurricanes.
Batting first, Durban had an early wobble and there was no escape from the jeopardy that they found themselves entangled in until the duo of George Linde and Asif Ali came to their rescue. Riding high on the two, the Qalandars managed to post 105 on the board. Taskin Ahmed pumped out an absolute masterclass with figures of 3/20.

Despite an imperious display by Beau Webster and a decent showdown from the captain, Sikandar Raza, the Braves could only manage 96 in response to Durban as Tendai Chatara crippled them down with figures of 3/9.
The Harare Hurricanes, though, were no match for the Buffaloes as the latter’s collective brilliance with the ball helped them restrict their counterparts within 81. Despite the fall of their captain for a paltry seven, the partnership of Tom Banton and Will Smeed steered the Buffaloes to a nine-wicket victory.
