Before we head to the curtain-raiser of the tournament, here is a quick glance at two teams who would be hoping to bring out the big guns in an attempt to leave the US ablaze with an exotic brand of cricketing brilliance.

Morrisville Unity:

The team would be riding high on the shoulders of Chris Gayle, Parthiv Patel, Corey Anderson and Manvinder Bisla to do the talking for them with the bat while the likes of Rahul Sharma, Nuwan Kulasekara, Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth would be asked to deliver the payload with the ball in their hands.

New Jersey Triton’s:

A team that comes to the fray with the name of Gautam Gambhir leading the lines, it is needless to say, it becomes the crux of all attention due to the solid cricketing brain that comes to the platter too. The Triton’s will be riding high on the likes of Albie Morkel, Gautam Gambhir, Yusuf Pathan and Jesse Ryder to play the big shots. On the bowling front, they would be hoping to bring the spark through RP Singh, Abhimanyu Mithun, Monty Panesar and Liam Plunkett – names that have been proven to bring success in the shorter format of the game.
