The day has finally arrived when the US Masters T10 gets rolling with just a few hours left on the clock before the first ball of the tournament is bowled. The first day of the tournament would feature three clashes which would be played between Atlanta Riders and Texas Chargers, New Jersey Tritons and California Knights while the day would cap off with a battle between the New York Warriors and Morrisville Unity.
The Riders would be banking their hopes on the shoulders of Robin Uthappa who dished out an impeccable display in the recently concluded Zim Afro T10 while he will be joined by Lendl Simmons, Dwayne Smith and Chaturanga de Silva in the heavy-firing department with the bat.

The Chargers would be hoping to produce some fireworks through the likes of the Professor Mohammad Hafeez, who would also have the support of one of the most eccentric bowlers, Sohail Tanveer laced with the wily turn of Pragyan Ojha. At the end of it all, this is going to be a classic battle of a team filled to the brim with the batters while the other will be hoping their bowlers get the job done.
New Jersey Tritons will be expecting a full-blown showdown as they will be led into the yard by the experienced Gautam Gambhir while boarding the likes of Albie Morkel and Liam Plunkett to introduce the raw pace battery into the tournament. Also, do not forget the name Jesse Ryder, the man who reshaped the cherry countless times with a blazing brand of his all-round brilliance.

The Knights would be happy to welcome the likes of Aaron Finch and Suresh Raina, two excellent strikers of the ball while the presence of Jacques Kallis is more than enough to spice things up. They also have a strong bowling department that will witness the likes of Jesal Karia, James Pattinson and Anureet Singh reporting for duty.
The final clash of the day would be played between the Warriors and the Unity and this is going to be a power-packed contest as both the sides come to the fray with a string of big names adorning their ranks. Unity will be happy to have the services of Chris Gayle, Parthiv Patel and Corey Anderson leading their batting line-up while the presence of Parvinder Awana and Nuwan Kulasekara makes their bowling unit a menacing one too.
The Warriors would be obviously expecting Shahid Afridi to rock the show while the availability of Misbah-ul-Haq, Tilakaratne Dilshan and Richard Levi bolsters their engine room like none other. Their bowling department would be happy to allow Jerome Taylor and Pravin Tambe to knit their own forms of magic against their counterparts.
