The opening day of US Masters T10 had a bleak start as rain played spoilsport in the first two games but the final battle on Friday witnessed a hard-hitting contest where Morrisville Unity went head-to-head against the New York Warriors.
On a day that had just one fixture reaching the finish line, there were obviously a handful of crazy displays and words would probably fall short of what the challenge would have looked like.
If we talk about optics from day one, the first one would obviously be the big wicket of Tillakaratne Dilshan who was trapped plumb in front of the wicket by Obus Pienaar with a peach of a delivery followed by a scream of joy from the left arm spinner.
Richard Levi made it a mission to haunt Rahul Sharma with two gigantic sixes in a single over as he launched the ball over the deep mid-wicket region effortlessly, flexing his muscles like none other.

The magnum opus of Levi, however, was the monstrous hit that brought up his fifty on day one. Once again, launching the cherry over the deep mid-wicket region, this time by a couple of rows into the stands, Levi took us back to his glory days.

Retaliating with his own signature monstrous hits, Corey Anderson also picked the cow corner once during his short stay to showcase the kind of hard-hitting flair that he comes to the fray with. Well, expect these scenes to come in spades as we return for day two of the fray.
