There could not have been a better way to end a rain-marred day 3 of the US Masters T10 as two legends turned the clock back with as Shahid Afridi and Jesse Ryder peppering the boundary ropes regularly.
The day just had one match happening due to the incessant rain that saw the Triton’s colliding with the warriors. In the very first over of the match, Kamran Akmal and Richard Levi tore apart RP Singh as the duo plundered 21 runs between themselves.

Well, if there was only one instance that involved bowlers savouring the upper hand, it was Liam Plunkett whose experience got him two big scalps in a single over of Richard Levi and Tilakaratne Dilshan.
A sight that cricket lovers would never want to miss also frequented day three of the tournament as Shahid Afridi emerged in his most fearsome avatar to take the Triton’s for a ride. He smashed 37 off 12 balls, a knock that comprised two maximums.
We were in for further entertainment as the dangerous Kiwi hard-hitter, Jesse Ryder was not mincing his bat swings as he left the Warriors in utter disarray with his gorgeous launches over the deep midwicket and long-on region, an area that used to be frequently exploited by the big-hitting Kiwi opener in his heydays.

Ryder’s departure did very little to soak the fiery spirits of the Triton’s as Chris Barnwell lit up the show with aggression of his own, toying with the Warriors during his unbeaten haul of 28 runs from just 10 balls. Day three was all about the batters as it rained boundaries in Florida, a downpour that the crowd actually loved.
