In less than a couple of days, cricket’s fastest format will be upon us once again but this time in a different flavour as we move from the wild of Zimbabwe to to the shores of Lauderhill, Florida in the USA. As six teams prepare to take the yard in the fastest avatar of the sport, the United States of America braces itself to witness cricket in a thrilling and exciting brand.
Ritesh Patel, CEO of SAMP Group addressed the cricket lovers of the country, saying, “We have taken our first big step towards organizing the US Masters T10 League. The tournament is surely going to be a cracker with so many former international superstars in each of the teams. We are eagerly looking forward to many closely contested matches in the competition.”
The US Masters will begin on Friday August 18th and will continue till August 27th, the day that would witness the summit clash being played. A total of 25 matches will be played across the duration of the tournament. The league stage will comprise of 21 games. The top 4 teams at the end of the league phase will make it to the playoffs. The playoff stages will witness two qualifiers, one eliminator and the grand finale. All the games are scheduled to be played at the Central Broward Park stadium in Lauderhill, Florida.
