Robin Uthappa has always been an impressive name in the shorter versions of the game but it has been a while since the Free Willy went all guns blazing to keep Harare Hurricanes alive in the tournament before they crashed out of the tournament after losing out to Harare Hurricanes.
Robbie announced his arrival by smashing Sheldon Cottrell for a couple of boundaries in the very first over. However, the destruction arrived at a full-scale in the second over where Robin smashed Mujeeb ur Rehman for 20 runs in the second over.

Karim Janat was also at the receiving end of some serious heat from Uthappa as he was whacked for three fours while Ngrava barely escaped through the teeth of his skin conceding a solitary boundary. Tom Curran didn’t run away scot-free either as he was being blitzed for 22 runs in the ninth over that saw the Hurricanes almost pulling off a historic victory.
