Matchday 12 of Abu Dhabi T10 season 5 saw a couple of brilliant individual performances.
Deccan Gladiators beat Bangla Tigers by 62 runs on the back of an incredible 39-ball 96 by opener Tom Kohler-Cadmore, who broke Chris Lynn’s record for the highest individual score in an Abu Dhabi T10 match with the knock.
Wanindu Hasaranga, too, shone, finishing the match with an incredible bowling figure of 5/8 – the second-ever fifer in Abu Dhabi T10 history.
Delhi Bulls, meanwhile, put up a clinical display to trump The Chennai Braves, aided by some disciplined bowling which restricted Angelo Perera’s men to just 80/4 in their 10 overs.

In the opening match of the day, Bangla Tigers captain Faf du Plessis won the coin toss and sent Deccan Gladiators into bat.
The Deccan Gladiators openers, Tom Kohler-Cadmore (96 off 39 balls) and Andre Russell (26* off 18 deliveries) gave the Gladiators a solid start.
In the third over, Cadmore was dropped in the deep off James Faulkner when he was batting on 24. The missed chance cost the Bangla Tigers dearly as Cadmore went on to decimate the bowlers en route to a 96, overtaking Chris Lynn’s 91* from 2019 which to date stood as the highest individual score in Abu Dhabi T10.
The Englishman eventually departed in the last over off the innings, four runs short of what would have been the first-ever century in Abu Dhabi T10.
Odean Smith came onto the pitch and hammered two sixes off the last three balls to help the Deccan Gladiators finish with 140/1 in 10 overs.
Deccan Gladiators skipper Wahab Riaz gave his team the early breakthrough, removing the dangerous Hazratullah Zazai for just four runs and the Bangla Tigers chase never recovered.
Wanindu Hasaranga rampaged through the Tigers’ top and middle order, ending the match with exceptional figures of 5/8. Only du Plessis (15 from 11 balls) and Isuru Udana (33 off 11 balls) put up any sort of resistance as the Tigers’ batting line-up crumbled for just 78/9 in 8.3 overs. Mohammad Amir, the eleventh batsman, was retired hurt.

In the second match, Delhi Bulls skipper Dwayne Bravo guessed it right at the toss and elected to bowl first.
The Bulls also made some early inroads into The Chennai Braves batting line-up, removing Mohammad Shahzad, Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Ravi Bopara with just 15 runs on the board.
The Chennai Braves captain Angelo Perera (40 off 24 balls) and Mark Deyal (22 off 21 balls) stabilised the innings with a fruitful fourth-wicket partnership, helping the Braves to a total of 80/4 in their allotted 10 overs.
Chasing the modest target, the Delhi Bulls batsmen ensured a short chase. Opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 57* in just 16 deliveries to help his team win the match with 10 wickets and 35 balls to spare.
