After 24 intense matches spread across eight days, the top four teams have finally emerged to make it to The Abu Dhabi T10 playoffs.

As per the points table, which saw quite a few shake-ups after the last day of the Super League stage, the top three teams have an equal number of points (10) so the net run rate has come into play.

The Delhi Bulls dethroned Qalandars from the top of the rankings with a huge victory that sent the latter’s net run-rate down the hill and helped the Northern Warriors, who also romped to a big win, take up the second spot.

Proving how swiftly things can change in the T10 format, Qalandars, who were unbeaten until last night, were pushed down to third place and will be joined by last-minute entrants Team Abu Dhabi.

The top two teams, Delhi Bulls and Northern Warriors will get two shots at the finals while Qalandars and Team Abu Dhabi play a knockout eliminator.

Below, we take a look at how the top four teams stack up in the three playoff matches.

Qualifier 1: Delhi Bulls vs Northern Warriors

Both Delhi Bulls and Northern Warriors are coming on the back of massive triumphs, which makes this encounter a battle of the equals. Led by the charismatic Nicholas Pooran, the high-flying Warriors are on a five-match unbeaten streak and have posted the highest score of the tournament this season.

Delhi Bulls, on the other hand, will be at a slight disadvantage as their only loss in this campaign has come against the Warriors in the Group Stage. However, they have made an impressive comeback post the loss to pick up three huge wins. They also have Ali Khan, the second-highest wicket-taker of 2020 ADT10, as the ace up their sleeve to counter the big-hitting Warriors.

Overall, both teams look evenly poised and the match guarantees to be a blockbuster.

Eliminator 1: Qalandars vs Team Abu Dhabi

Qalandars and Team Abu Dhabi have had contrasting fortunes in their previous games as the former went down fighting to Delhi Bulls, the latter made it to the playoffs with a win over Bangla Tigers.

In their previous clash this season, Qalandars came out on top with a nine-wicket victory. However, Team Abu Dhabi’s Chris Gayle and Paul Stirling have hit form at the right time and are fully capable of taking on any bowling attack in the world.

The Qalandars will be bolstered by the return of Shahid Afridi, who was rested for the last game and will be raring to take the field in this all-important eliminator.

The loser of this match will be knocked out of 2020 ADT10.

Eliminator 2: Loser of Qualifier vs winner of Eliminator 1

Since the top two teams in the points table get two opportunities to book a berth in the finals, the loser of Qualifier 1, played between Delhi Bulls and Northern Warriors, will take on the winner of Eliminator 1 from the clash between Qalandars and Team Abu Dhabi.

The team that comes out on top in this contest will take a step closer to The Abu Dhabi T10 title.
