Delhi Bulls’ Evin Lewis goes berserk

West Indies batter Evin Lewis is known for his hard-hitting ability and it was on display in all of its glory during the 5th match of the 2021 season of Abu Dhabi T10.

After the Maratha Arabians posted a total of 87/4 in their quota of 10 overs, Delhi Bulls breached the ordinary target in just five overs with Evin Lewis scoring a breathtaking 16-ball 55, comprising seven sixes, five of those coming in Muktar Ali’s 33-run over.

Wayne Parnell does the trick with the ball

In a format which can prove to be a nightmare for the bowlers, Northern Warriors’ all-rounder Wayne Parnell managed to pick up a crucial hat-trick in a group phase match of the 2021 campaign.

Defending a respectable total of 137, Parnell picked up important wickets of Sherfane Rutherford, Dwayne Bravo and Ali Khan in the ninth over to restrict Delhi Bulls to 105/7, helping his team to a 32-run victory.

Nicholas Pooran tames the Bangla Tigers!

Facing quality bowlers like Mohammad Irfan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman is no easy task but that didn’t deter West Indies batter Nicholas Pooran from going on a famous rampage.

Match no. 11 of the 2021 season saw the Bangla Tigers take on Northern Warriors. Batting first, Warriors’ skipper Nicholas Pooran took matters into his own hands and smashed 89 runs off 26 balls at a humongous strike rate of 342.30 with the help of three fours and 12 sixes. The blistering knock guided his team to a 30-run victory.

The Kennar Lewis – Moeen Ali Show

The West Indian and the Englishman put on an exhibition of some beautiful shots at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Delhi Bulls deny Team Abu Dhabi in a match of thin margins

The Qualifier-2 of the fifth edition saw Delhi Bulls lock horns with Team Abu Dhabi for a final berth.

However, their batters failed to close the deal when they came out to chase. Dominic Drakes crushed Team Abu Dhabi’s hopes of entering the final with the figures of 4/13 in two overs. Fazal Haque wreaked havoc at the other end with a fiery 3/5, bundling out the Liam Livingstone-led side for 60 runs.
